This EDF mod is great!!! All parts fit very well. I ordered a cheap edf on Ali Express, and the only concern is the mounting lugs on the fan unit. Each engine has its own style of mounting lugs. Just adapt them to the mounting spot on the mod. I had to widen the mounting lugs on my motor a bit so the screw in the mod would go thru the lugs. Easy fix. I recommend this mod because it makes the AreoScout stand out in the crowd for sure.

AeroScout 64mm EDF Jet Conversion Kit
The 64mm EDF kit is the high-performance successor to our 50mm version, designed for pilots and hobbyists who want more speed and raw power. This "big brother" upgrade pushes the AeroScout to its aerodynamic limits, offering a significant boost in thrust and that signature jet engine howl.
Because this kit increases both weight and airspeed, it is recommended for intermediate pilots/hobbyists. If you are new to flying, we suggest starting with the 50mm kit. Both kits feature a simple bolt-on design, making installation and removal effortless. Compatible with both the stock landing gear and the KIN tail dragger landing gear.

Battery Suggestions:
-We highly recommend adding the KIN Servo Relocation Plate to your order. With the elevator and rudder servos relocated further back, the extra space allows for a 4S 3200mAH battery. The benefit is extra flight time and minimal to no added steel weights required to obtain a balanced CG.
-Using the stock elevator and rudder servo locations, space only allows for a 4S 2200mAH 30C battery or 50C (tight fit but works). 3oz of steel weights (six 0.5oz weights) must be added to the nose to achieve a balanced CG. All landing gear configurations are compatible and don't require additional work going this route.
64mm EDF Mounting Kit Includes:
- x1 Inlet Duct
- x1 Motor Mount - for 64mm EDF
- x1 Thrust Outlet Cone (optional to install)
- x1 Motor Mount Shim (thick version)
- x6 Balancing Weights (0.5oz each - use as needed)
- If using the KIN Servo Relocation Plate and a 3200mAh Lipo, 0-2 pieces are needed.
- x1 Heatsink with thermal tape for the ESC
- x4 M3x16mm bolts
- x2 M3x12mm bolts

KIN Servo Relocation Plate Includes:
This optional add-on allows the relocation of the servo's further back, 2 inches, in the fuselage allowing more room to fit a 3200mAH battery (or larger), versus the smaller 2200mAH with the stock servo location.
