AeroScout 64mm EDF Jet Conversion Kit
The evolution, the bigger brother, to the smaller and less powerful 50mm EDF kit.
The extra power of a 64mm EDF pushes the AeroScout even closer to it's limits and so it is not suggested for beginner/entry level flyers. If you are new to the world of EDF flying, you may want to consider the 50mm kit first. Both kits are bolt on and can be installed and uninstalled just as easy.
This simple upgrade lets you experience the exhilarating feel, significant power increase, and best of all, the incredible sounds that come with fly EDF jets. Use your existing AeroScout RC plane to master the basics of jet flying before you commit to an expensive, detailed, to-scale model. It's the most affordable and effective way to learn.

Battery Suggestions:
-We HIGHLY suggest adding the KIN Servo Relocation Plate to your order. With the elevator and rudder servos relocated further back, the extra space allows for a 3200mAH battery. The benefit is extra flight time and minimal to no added steel weights required to obtain a balanced CG. Note that if using the stock landing gear, the nose gear push rod will need to be removed and then replaced with the included push rod (must be measured and bent by user)
-Using the stock elevator and rudder servo locations, space only allows for a 2200mAH 30C battery or 50C (tight fit but works). 3oz of steel weights (six 0.5oz weights) must be added to the nose to achieve a balanced CG. All landing gear configurations are compatible and don't require additional work.
60mm EDF Mounting Kit Includes:
-Inlet Duct
-Motor Mount - for 64mm EDF
-Thrust Outlet Cone (optional to install. decreases thrust)
-Motor Mount Shim (thick version)
-Balancing Weights (use as needed)
-Heatsink with thermal tape for the ESC
-Qty:6 M3x16mm bolt
-Qty:6 M3 nut
-Qty:6 Steel Balancing Weights (0.5oz each)
-If using the KIN Servo Relocation Plate and a 3200mAh Lipo, 0-2 pieces are needed.
KIN Servo Relocation Plate Includes:
This optional add-on allows the relocation of the servo's further back in the fuselage allowing more room to fit a 3200mAH battery, versus the smaller 2200mAH with the stock servo location.
-Relocation Plate
-Unbent push rod to replace the now too short nose wheel push rod (if using stock landing gear).
Stronger Elevator Servo Add-on Includes:
The Emax ES09D is ~2X stronger and ~1.6X faster than the stock servo. For your convenience we offer this as an optional add-on. Also available directly through Wind Catcher RC ES09D Servo.
-One Emax ES09D Servo Motor
