Ready to make the jump from propellers to jets with minimal risk? The KIN Additive 50mm EDF Mounting Kit is your perfect, low cost entry into the world of electric ducted fan (EDF) flight.

Designed to be a genuine Jet Trainer this simple upgrade lets you experience the exhilarating feel of a jet and, best of all, the incredible sounds that comes with it. Use your existing AeroScout RC plane to master the basics of jet flying before you commit to an expensive, detailed, to-scale model. It's the most affordable and effective way to learn.

Compatible with both stock landing gear and the KIN tail dragger landing gear.

Battery Suggestions:

This kit is 3S and 4S compatible, but we highly suggest using a 2200mah 4S Battery to get the full power range of the 50mm EDF

Landing Gear & Center of Gravity (CG)

Depending on your battery and landing gear setup, you may need to add the included steel weights to balance the CG. When using the recommended 4S 2200mAH battery, CG balancing requires the following:

-Factory landing gear requires extra nose weight.

-KIN landing gear requires no extra weight.

-No landing gear/belly lander requires extra nose weight.
