Building models using traditional balsa wood methods can be a learning curve. That's why we engineered the UltraFlap Ultra Light kit for a straightforward assembly experience, even if you're new to the traditional balsa wood style building. While it utilizes traditional construction principles, we've made a key upgrade: PCTG plastic instead of balsa wood. This material is incredibly tough, lightweight, and resistant to high temperatures and UV, ensuring your model stands up to the rigors of flight and time while eliminating any need for cutting or sanding of balsa wood.

Our design choices make the building process as smooth as possible:
Consisting of PCTG plastic parts, carbon fiber tubes and rods, and lightweight vinyl covering, the KIN UltraFlap achieves an ultra-light and remarkably stiff construction. While perfectly sized for the AeroScout, its versatile control surface pivot arm allows for broad compatibility with most high-wing and mid-wing RC aircraft (if you dare), whether they're foam or balsa builds.
